Pretty Gift For Mothers

There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving- Acts 20:35
Genuine giving is such a wonderful provision we learned from the very first day we were brought up in this lovely world. God had freely given us all the possibilities so we can enjoy, feel and share things that make this world a whole lot of lovely. Our parents showed us the art of giving even before we see it.  It is true that there is more happiness in giving than in receiving. When we give, the only thing that matters to us is the priceless smile and passionate hug from someone we love. We give unconditionally, not expecting in return 'cause that would mean investing. We give because we are driven by compassion, kindness and love to those people who matters to us the most, people who touched us in their own little ways, those who makes us feel loved, and those who have little means but have lots to teach us. Today, I am sharing a gift idea that we could give our moms as our appreciation of all the hard work and sacrifices they went through from the very first day they learned about our existence. Thinking of the perfect gift for any occasion? I hope this one would help you decide. I got this lovely Philippine Made tulip design centerpiece table made from Sinamay fibers woven from Abaca plant at KULTURA FILIPINO. The length is for 10-seaters. It cost about  $24.00. Pretty expensive but the quality of the materials used is worth it. Pleasing our moms wouldn't be complete without the rest of the set. They also have tulip designed place mats and a bread basket. How cool is that? It's $80.00 for 10 place mats and a bread basket. So, I spent about $104.00 for everything. I sent this gift via FEDEX with my mother-in-law and the reaction I got from her is priceless. I am so happy that she loves it. She told me that it was her favorite table set. Whatever it is that you give your love ones, what matters is not value of the gift but the love you put into that gift that would infuse happiness to the person who will receive it.  Have a wonderful week everyone!

Great ideas...Happy Moms realize that the days are long but the years short. It's not that they are impervious to stress, it's that they have learned to lower their expectations and be in the moment when things get difficult. When your toddler is puking all over the house, this is not the time to reorganize the hall closet. A sick day then turns into a time to create sweet memories of hours spent reading and cuddling on the couch.
