The Loyal Switch?

I have been a good and loyal Smart Broad band subscriber for almost 2 years now and I must say that I just can't let go of it. At least not yet, as this was very helpful to me still whenever I am out of town where cables and satellites are just mere blurs to most people. I am not exaggerating when I said this. It is literally disappointing to know that where I originally came from, there are just few chosen towns who get to enjoy these technologies while most of our neighbors living in this small isolated town are still unaware that these famous privileges do exists. Talking about living in a third world country huh?

But seriously, do I really have to be stuck with this device and not try other broadband service? My old SmartBro MF627stick which you can see from the photo has malfunctioned a week ago. Judging from the looks of it without any light indicator you will surely not miss the sign that it is obviously useless now. Yea, I thought of getting a new modem stick with a different provider but every time I come to the conclusion of things I always end up sticking to my comfort zone. Perhaps I've already called it a "home". You would never imagine how this device tested my patience. I went through a lot of frustrations and disgruntled sighs. I was just thankful enough to know a bit of knowledge how to resolve network issues on my own without wasting my time calling the hotline to bring back the good signal.

What I'm using right now is the newest SmartBro Prepaid Power Plugit which has the Load Balance Counter and Call capability added features. It was also preloaded with 120 free surfing hours good for 5 days based on the site which got me confused because the Sales Person whom I purchased the device from told me that it was extended for 10 days free surfing hours. I'm on the fourth day now. Looking forward to the 10 days I guess. That would really make me a more happy and loyal customer to them. I think it is still too early to make a detailed review of the two modem versions for now. When I get back to Manila tomorrow, that's when judgment comes.
